My grandmother, Esther is an amazing woman. She ran a farm with my
grandfather while raising three kids, learned to shoot snakes with
deadly accuracy, became a pilot, installed a darkroom in her house, and
currently spends her time restoring old cars with my grandfather. Her
most memorable piece of advice to me: "Always show a little leg!"
My husband had this genius idea of having my grandmother write
articles about her life for my website. I didn't realize what a great
idea it was until she started recording all these old memories, some
things she said she hasn't thought of in years! How precious it is to
have this written record of her life in her own words! Her stories are
so entertaining, I know that you will enjoy them too! You can even send
her an email to comment or ask her a question. I know she would love to
hear from you. After all, it is called "Ask Esther!"
It took me a little while to talk her into this one, but once I assured
her there were no cameras involved, she was on board! The Ask Esther

grandmother's stories is that she is not exaggerating or making anything
